    1. [AUS-SAGEN] Mary Jane Rock and James Farrelly
    2. purpleheffalump via
    3. Hi Ron Within Australia you can hit the electoral rolls to find families living at the same address.  Sometimes hardwork but very rewarding.  SA is a little difficult but it depends on whether you have access to indexes etc... I found on Ancestry a marriage index that may be yours.  A Mary Jane ROCK married a James FARRELLY on the 21 October 1885 in Adelaide.  Bride's father Andrew ROCK and spouse's father James FARRELLY. There are a few public and private trees on Ancestry showing Mary and James, some with photos.  They do have both their sets of parents given. Regards Sharron McKay

    1. [AUS-SAGEN] Mary Jane Nelson
    2. Mr Great Grandfather was a George Thomas Hall TILLER , a colourful character with some history , who was first married to a Sarah Ann McHugh. George died aged 45 and is buried at Port Pirie. Sarah died in 1877. I would love to know if anyone has a photo of her and could let me borrow it or make me a copy . I have been looking for information on Mary Jane Nelson - I have her birth date marriage date (4 Dec 18 Dec 1877). I asked this group for help and appreciated being given information which has proved valuable. I am still looking for Mary Jane and I may have stumbled on a likely prospect - A Mary Jane Nelson is thought to have married a William Johnson at Port Adelaide in 1912. Maybe she is the one I am looking for. Can some kind soul help me out? Thanks in anticipation Ken

    1. [AUS-SAGEN] information Colbert Emmanuel Hunkin
    2. Robyn Coates
    3. I am still working away at the Members of the 39th Battalion 1st AIF and one member is Colbert Emmanuel Hunkin #1185. He is an optician and living in Ballarat at the time of enlistment. His NOK is living in a house called Marazion so I think there is probably a Cornish connection. I think from correspondence on the National Archives site he is living in SA in 1923 and also on ancestry there is a death in 1957 in SA. I think he may have married a Marjorie and wondered if someone could check this for me and any chn he may have had and their birth dates. Any other information would be greatly appreciated as I try to put together a picture of these soldiers. Thank you in anticipation Robyn
