I'm using Opera browser with no problems which has the same base as Chrome. I trust those who are having problems have contacted Trove/NLA as people here can only report whether they have problems or not. Maybe caches need to be cleared or bookmarks renewed or there is something else behind the scenes re browser settings that Trove would be able to elucidate. I have no problems accessing Trove. The appearance is definitely different and you need to access via the various icons that appear down the left hand side of the browser window. I am wondering if there is some sort of plug in that is missing from your browser that might be causing the issue? I am using the latest version of firefox. What I see is icons down the left hand side, a small panel next to the icons that has text appearing and a larger panel that shows the image. You use the icons in order to access various things such as the information icon to get the source information, the icon showing an arrow pointing down to get an image of the article to appear in a new tab. Hi Chris, I have been correcting and tagging many notices since the upgrade, and have not had any problems viewing the images of the pages. I am using Firefox, and the OCR text appears in the left pane of the browser window, and the page image in the right pane. I was concerned that many of the corrections and tags that I had added before the upgrade had been lost, but apparently it took quite some time after the upgrade before the indexing was completed. Sheelagh's posting reminded me that my g-grandfather and his family arrived in S.A. in that year. 1851 was a "great" year for emigration from the British Isles. The "WILTSHIRE EMIGRATION ASSOCIATION" in that year arranged for 4 emigrant ships to go to South Australia and 2 to Victoria. The ships to S.A. were Omega(15/04/1851), Marion (18/03), Thetis (27/05) and Navarino (17/06). The 2 to Victoria were Statesman (17/06) and John Knox (15/03). The Marion was wrecked when arriving in S.A. waters near Edithburgh on Yorke Peninsula. All emighrants survived the wrecking and most were taken by various means, eventually to Port Adelaide. On the Marion were 229 emigrants from various counties of England, 45 from Scotland and 72 from Ireland. Hi Listers Does anyone have any hints on where to look on a Roman Catholic Family Bible to find out when it was printed and where it was printed. I have had the cover fixed as it dried out and cracked but I was fortunate to find someone to fix it for me years ago. Between the two testaments there are some of the family Births, Marriages and Deaths listed. The first one is a Death 1839 ( I think my Grandfather started the entries but not sure) My grand father came to Port Adelaide with his uncle in 1851. I am not sure if it was bought with them or purchased and start once they got here . Cheers, Sheelagh Wiles
