    2. June Smith
    3. Dear Listers, Does anyone have access to WA BDMs? (I'm not getting anywhere with the on-line searches!). Looking for a marriage between Joseph BROWN and a Mary Ann STOREY (or STORY) sometime 'tween 1899 and 1914. Believe they had a son Alexander Thomas BROWN in WA and I would like his birth date if possible. Family knowledge is sketchy and Joseph was killed on Gallipoli in 1915. Thanks in advance and grateful for any assistance. Monty Smith Southern Flinders Ranges.

    3. Chris, "Visitation of God" mainly referred to death from a stroke. One of my ancestors here in WA was certified on a death certificate as having died from "General breaking up." Kim -----Original Message----- Recently on the NSW List, there were two very interesting postings with regard to newspaper reports in the mid 1840's Several of the death notices, gave the cause of death as "Visitation of God" Can some-one explain to me, what this actually meant? The ages of the deceased varied. Regards Chris Pycroft (nee GWYNNE) Port Augusta SA Snip
