    1. [AUS-SAGEN] LAUCKE wedding
    2. Sheelagh Wiles
    3. Hi Listers Can anyone help me with the marriage of a Max LAUCKE and Rosemary ?????? I don't know when they married . The LAUCKE family comes from Strathalbyn and Barossa Valley. I don't think it will be on the 2nd disk as I don't think they would have married until about 1950-1955 maybe at a guess. I can't seem to find them on "TROVE" but sometimes I miss things on there. TIA Sheelagh

    3. Hi Robyn If you do a search on Trove for "Wakefield Scheme" and then refine search to the 1840s there are several articles of the time about the scheme. If there are any surviving lists they would probably be held at the SA state archives. 3. Thanks Sheelagh for the suggestion. I did do a search and I find that this scheme (Barwell Boys) was much later in the early 1900s. I am looking for the mid-1850s when I was told Wakefield had a scheme - I think his scheme finished in the 1840s and he moved his schemes to NZ and Canada. Living in Victoria, it is not easy to access SA records which is why I love the SA list - the members are so helpful and the knowledge base is superb. Many thanks for your help. Regards Robyn

It reminded me that they are not online like here but are still held by the Ministry of Defence and your Mum may apply, but it will cost GBP30.00. See the guide above.
