Hi everyone! I am researching the Gill family which arrived in Australia at Maryborough on the "Duke of Athole" in 1881. The worked in the sandstone quarry at Helidon. I am looking for grave sites and information on Marta Ann Gill (may be buried under the name "Gilbert") possibly at Murphy's Creek. Other name of interest are:- Mary Jane Gill - died 1922 - burial place unknown - would have to have been in the Helidon - Murphy's Creek area. Ernest Gill George Henry Gill - supposedly owned land around Murphy's Creek. Walter Gill who was in the police force but "resigned". Supposedly had 4 or 5 bullocks used to drag logs out of the bush at Murphy's Creek. Also supposedly his bullock team led the first Carnival of Flowers procession. Thanks in advance for any help. Terry
