Hi Everyone, An 80yo family friend is coming to visit us here in Toowoomba over Easter. His mother was Lillian Florence WARREN, who had been a teacher at Glennie and somewhere around Linthorpe in the 1920s. Lillian was one of 4? children, her father being Frederick Charles Warren who was the Secretry of the Philharmonic Society at one state. He died in 1937 at 80yrs. Lillian married Robert Lincoln WHITTEN in the 1920s.. and Robert was a teacher also, based at Linthorpe, just outside Tmba in the late 1920s, early 30s. The family home "Warrendean" was either in Hume Street or adjoining it, apparently access had to be by the side of another property in Hume Street, so sounds like it is a bit behind the street frontage. Just wondering if anyone knows anything of the family or the home. Would be lovely to surprise him and find some photos etc. Cheers Liz
