    3. Hi everyone, Am I the only one getting a bit pithed off...I have a lisp!.. Nothing much, or very little, is able to be got, without crossing the palm with silver. Now, these are our records...we belong to them...we want them, but have to pay all sorts of fees and charges for public records...we cannot access them on our own, so need someone in power to do this...hence comes the fees... I often look through google, just putting in something like...freney, armidale, for example. Lots of sites come up but once you click, it is we have it, but for you to see it, it costs. Surely now and again, local societies can give a name out, mostly it is so we can get a certificate...but no...first pay, THEN we will see if they are there...comments please.. robyndehood. toowoomba. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Daniels, Sandi" <Sandrah.Daniels@det.nsw.edu.au> To: <AUS-QLD-TOOWOOMBA-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, April 16, 2004 8:46 AM Subject: RE: [AQ-TOOWOOMBA] Index to Immigrants 1900-1915? > Hi Tim > > Try this site: www.slq.qld.gov.au/scd/famhist/ to the State Library of > Queensland for Qld records.
