Howdy all Would anyone know if the Boundary Street, Toowoomba, was the same street in 1875 as it is toady. It must have been quite a way out of the town and I am surprised to find it called a street way back then. Maybe a Road I would understand. I have a child's death recorded there, yet all the other records I have were from James Street. Chris Townsville

Chris I'll check this out in Postal directory of the period if we have one at TDDFHS. I am more than certain that it would be quite a different road to the Boundary road of today. We are in the process (VERY early stage) of indexing name changes, with reference, of any Toowoomba Streets and would be grateful for any references which could be provided by members of this list.
