    3. This is a list of the 27 Hoffmann familles that I have established migrated to Australia in the 19th century. I am of opinion that they are not connected except that Johan Samuel Hoffmann had two sisters. The information I have entered here has been extracted from list wide emails and other historical documents that are available in the public arena. I have withheld some information that has been sent by personal emails or letters. There are about five more familles that I have not included because the dates do not match the era I am interested in and I cannot tie them up to families listed here. There is also a couple of families about whom I cannot develop a logical conclusion for various reasons. I am sure that I have not listed all the Hoffmann families that migrated to Australia in the 19th century but this is a good start. Hopefully this is of interest to others. Hopefully somebody can/will help me fill in the blank spaces so that we might finish up with the same full picture of each family. If I have duplicated then please tell me. If I have wrong information then please tell me. My next interest is to gather some stories of why they came, where they settled and how they lived. Albert Grulke 1.
