    3. I am not sure where I am going here but I thought I might give progress report on how my Hoffmann project has developed. First of all I would like to thank all those who have sent me data. It has been very beneficial and I have done some interesting work with it. Thank you again. I have developed 20 family tree of Hoffmann that came to Australia in the 19th century and are unrelated to each other. Among that 20 there is at least two families where there were sisters and brothers came out. I have the name of the parents who stayed in Germany while some of their off spring migrated. For example Johann Samuel Hoffman migrated in 1847 but his one sister migrated in 1839 and the other in 1849 while a brother remained in Prussia. I have about three other Hoffmann names on file that I cannot relate to a family and have no information on. I am certain that I do not have all the families. I am convinced from child hood memory that there is at least one if not two other families in Toowoomba that I have nothing about. My next move is to try and establish where they came from (I have this for most families), where they came to (I have this for most families) and what they did after they came here. I have per kind listers and mailers three or four interesting stories. I would like to some how compile this into a book of some sort because I reckon there is a story here worth sharing. It has been suggested that I should develop a website for Hoffmann in Australia. I wonder about the ethics. I wonder about privacy and privilege. I have no problem sharing what I learn and most of it comes off emails, websites and books available to everybody but I do know some people get concerned at public sharing of information. I would hate to breach a privilege some mailer gave me. In any case I would need to learn how to create a website. This is crazy but I worked don the installation of the first computer system in Australia, I was involved in programming computers before they were ever commercialised and now I am flat out using one. I need my four year old grand kids to show me how to do basics. How technology passed me by. Any ideas readily accepted Albert Grulke researching Grulke, Gill, Harvey, Volker, Proposch, Hoffmann, Kummerow, Mutze and a Hoffmann to Australia project
