Could someone on the list with a knowledge of QLD. BDM`s please advise. My great uncle died in QLD. I believe, in 1979. Can i apply for a copy of his death certificate, or would it only be available to a direct descendant.? If i am able to apply for same, would the name of the person and the death year be sufficent for the application, or would i require the death registration number. Also, on the application form, can i apply for a search pre and including the year i believe he died, or do i require the exact year.? Administration of his estate was applied for in 1979, so there is the possibility he died prior to that year. One other question if i may.
