Good morning All I have a dear friend who started the BADGE One-Name Society No 3419. During those cleanup operations (of which we shall not speak here), I came across the entry in an Admission Register of Mount Gravatt State School 1878 for a young Henry BADGE aged 10 years, Father - Labourer. He enrolled at the same time as three of our GIESEMANNs. The Bethania book does not appear to have the name and it doesn't have the GIESEMANNs either (though the web site does - thank you Russell). Can anyone help Mr Walter BADGE, and me, in finding anything about the Mt Gravatt settlements please? Repeating Henry's Father was a Labourer and August Giesemann was a Storekeeper. There are so many family books around, maybe some folk settled around Waterford and Logan Road and have books which mention these two families. We would be grateful for any help. Many thanks Bev
