Hello All I sent something like this a few days ago, but seeing as no one answered it or my further request for acknowledgment of receipt, I guess all of those messages sent during the GO-SLOW on this machine are still in Cyber Space!! Let all be WARNED - don't download a Printer Driver for a Printer not listed on your new computer!! (Brands not named to protect the innocent - still got my sense of humour!) A couple or so weeks ago I asked if anyone knew about Waterford/Mt Gravatt family books but no one replied. I can't see why we have so many in the Valley/Boonah/Tamborine areas and only one "Bethania the early years" in the Logan area. "REGISTER OF PUBLICANS" Apart from a few microfiche at our local library, I would like to find further details if possible. Can anyone tell me where - hopefully on the net - please? August GIESEMANN (David's G/Grandfather) was Licensee of Bridge Hotel, Gatton 1883/1884; Pioneer, William Street, Forest Hill 1891; Exchange Hotel, Laidley 1893/1895. Moses KERLIN (David's paternal Grandfather's twin brother) had the Waterford Hotel, Logan Valley in the early 1900s - haven't followed this one up yet. AND there is still this terrible space in the 1880s when young Henry BADGE (Father - Labourer) and three of the GIESEMANN children (father August - Storekeeper) went to Mt Gravatt State School.
