Dear Listers, I will be passing through Munich in 2 months time. I will have one and a half days there. Would anyone on the list know where I could find records for Coburg, Bavaria, and how would I go about accessing information.The only information I have tracing back to Germany, my Grt. Grt. Grandfather James SCHMIDT was born in Coburg, Bavaria about 1820. I have his Marriage Certificate, N.S.W. and Death Certificate here in Qld. Neither of them show his parents or the ship he came out here on, or how long he had been in Australia. Have hit a brick wall. I would appreciate any help anyone can give. Thanks Lorraine.
