Dear List, this is not a virius it is a hoax do not act upon it. And, of course, jdbgmgr.exe is a standard windows component that is on every system - it is used in the Microsoft Java runtime engine. So if you delete it java will have problems and eventually you'll have to restore the system file. Some viruses hoaxes are more destructive , asking you to delete things that can't be easily restored and will cause your computer to stop working. the link below gives you a restore option if you have deleted the file http://www.cowleycollege.com/outreach/ssec/comptech/ISSUE26.HTML Kind Regards JUlie Jakeman ----- Original Message ----- From: "Neil Kronk" <nvkronk@ozconnect.net> Date: Thursday, October 31, 2002 8:02 am Subject: Computer virus warning > > To all my family, friends and colleagues - my computer received this > virus message(as copied and pasted below) this morning - sent from > a computer of somone who is on the same mail list as I.
