Hi Listers I have received a message supposed to be from myself, using my name and the first part of my email address (mamee) but the address was "@hunterlink.net.au" - the body of the message was Chapter 6 of Pioneers in Petticoats which I put on this list ages ago when the book was published. I assume that the harvesters of email addresses got my name etc from archived messages from this list, or from someone's infected computer as this was the only list I posted the message to. Just be careful in opening any message over 50kb. Personally I view all my messages on my web server's page first these days. I can then delete anything suspicious. I can tell you it's not pleasant seeing your own name used though. Cheers Marionne

Hello Marionne, You might find that you have the Bugbear virus. What you described was one of the things the virus was doing.
