Hi everyone, The August 2002 edition of the Journal of the Royal Historical Society of Queensland, Vol 18 No 3 contains an article titled "German Settlers on the Logan River and the German Sick Relief Society" by Ian Wilkey. It is a 6 page (A5 size) article and (among other things) discusses a chap named Eberhard who practised as a doctor, despite not apparently being qualified. The committee (dated Beenleigh, February, 1896) of the "German Sick Relief Society for the Logan District" consisted of: J Köhnke, President C Diete, Secretary A Kleinschmidt J F Mengel E Lohrisch A Fischer M T Schneider W Brauer C Humburg C Rehfeldt Ferd.
