I checked the Qld CD of BDM and noticed the following for you: Frederick Arnsts WIALAND married Catherina Igine Christiana DIEDERICH on 28Oct1864 (1864/ 000245) There was eights births registered to them: all as WIELAND, but with the father as either Ernest or Ernst and the mother as Christiane DIEDERICH, Christiana DIEDRICH, Christiana DIEDRICK. Unnamed (F) 27 Aug 1867 1867/ 001490 John 15 Mar 1872 1872/ 001076 Unnamed (F) 10 Jul 1874 1874/ 001522 Henry Adolf 20 Jan 1877 1877/ 005431 Ernest 29 Sep 1882 1882/ 005255 Catharine Eugenie Christiane 28 Dec 1869 1870/ 001104 Pauline Louise 05 Sep 1879 1879/ 006240 Mathilde Caroline Wilhelmine 15 Nov 1883 1883/ 002896 Ernest Frederick 06 Dec 1864 1864/ 000877 Father: Frederick Ernest I also noted that John was only registered as John, not John William - I double checked when I noticed the difference. They had the following children that I know of: John William b 15/03/1872 Unnamed b 10/07/1874 Henry Adolf (died 02/01/1943) John William married Annie Henrietta Utzenger on 31/05/1894, Annie died 17/05/1914: They had the following children: Alfred Andrew Louise Henrietta Christina Norman Henry John William Maurice Edward Percy Gilbert Arthur James Percy Gilbert Wieland above is my husbands Grandfather. All of the above events took place in Australian. I know a number of the children of John and Annie were in the Gin Gin district.
