Hi All, Am wondering if someone may be able to answer my question. The ship Grasbrook arrived in Brisbane in September 1855 has a listing for a family, (passenger no's 108 109 110 and 111). One of the people, Caroline Louise Schmidt (passenger no. 110) instead of having an age given for her has instead the letters Sa with an umlaut over the a. Could anyone tell me what this would mean. There is one other passenger on this ship who also has these letters instead of an age. Would love to hear from anyone who can answer this for me. Regards, Valerie Kronk.
