Hi again Many thanks Gillie and my dear friend Cathy (you are yet to let me down Cathy!). The Ipswich Gens didn't have that school book for sale - don't think I saw it there either. A friend has the 'They lived in the Lockyer' on loan from the Toowoomba Library and I'm hoping our local library can get it by inter-library loan when she has finished. I can't see us getting to Brisbane in the near future, let alone to the Valley!! I'll see if I can find Mrs Kraatz's address Gillie, thanks for that. I wouldn't mind the Tallegalla book either! Cheers Bev
Hi Bev, I missed previous emails on this topic, but I have the book done for the Tallegalla centenary, and also Frank Snars book " German Settlement in the Rosewood Scrub". I am interested in any books on the area as my maternal side all come from that pocket.
