------------------------------------------------------ A few weeks ago there was a query about churches sharing with other chuches. In my adopted town of Frankston we have a Lutheran Church who sold their church in a new shopping development. They now share a church with the Uniting Church. They have an elaborate sign painted by a signwriter which states Uniting Church 9-30 am Sunday etc and underneath Lutheran Church 11 am Sunday etc. My ggrandfather John Wittmann built a church on his property in Coolabunia in the 1890 which was used by various denominations. My wife is a fully ordained pastor and she started a church in a school hall and was transferred after three years to join a bigger church. The church is still going quite strongly. I am afraid there are not too many church services held in churches, but rather in public halls etc. John Harkin. ------------------------------------------------------ InterNet Australis http://www.australis.com.au/
