Hi, Looking for Geisler's who arrived Queensland Australia.John Edward Geisler had a farm in Macaky and was married to Louisa Chamberlain. John died in Mackay in 1933. His parents were Johann Ludwig Gessler and Auguste Barke. This is all I have so far. Appreciate any help. Annie

I have George Henri (George Henry) GEISLER, son of Johannes (John) GEISLER, died 1899 in Warialda, NSW, who married Catherine Mary Sharpenborg in 1870. Catherine was born about 1826/7 in Germany, maiden name unknown, first mariage to unknown STAM(M), second to Francis SHARPENBORG (or the manu other variants such as Scharpenberg, Sharfenberg etc). Around 1868 George Geisler was at 'the Wattle Station' - source family notes. I do not know any more about origin etc of this Geisler.
