    3. Hi Rhondda & Paul, I have some information regarding Zion's Hill/Nundah/German Station if you are interested. I have been slowly transcribing what I have. However, most of it is about the ZILLMANN family, as that is who I have been researching but there is some information regarding the others, and most of it is earlier than 1860. There are also 5 books held at the John Oxley Library written by John Hermann Leopold Zillmann, who was born in 1841 at this Station, and one by John Williams Zillman b 1845, called Recollections of my Early Life. If you go to http://jolopac.slq.qld.gov.au/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?PAGE=sbSearch&SEQ=20020920030018&PID=29910 you can also do a search on Nundah History and it will bring up some books. Nundah State School was originally called German Station State School. There is also some basic information found on the Nundah/Toombul ward internet site at: http://www.ecn.net.au/%7ekflesser/page19.html Despite alot of contrary information I believe the initial settlement was actually set up by Moravian missionaries. I hope this gives you some things to start on. Good luck. Werona >Hello all, > >Can anyone direct us to find information regarding German Station during the >1860's? > >Thanks, >Rhondda & Paul
