Hello Rhondda & Paul, German Station was the original name for the Brisbane Suburb of Nundah, where the Lutheran Gossner Missionaries settled in the 1850's and the old Nundah cemetary has many persons of German extraction interred there including many who had Streets and suburbs named after them on the Northside of town, Including the likes of Zillmann and Gerler. The Nundah historical society based in the Nundah BCC library has lots of info on the area as does the Aldermann for Northgate, Mr Kim Flesser, who is also a German decendant of the Flesser family that settled in the Logan area. Regards, Chris Sichter Subject: German Station Hello all, Can anyone direct us to find information regarding German Station during the 1860's? Thanks, Rhondda & Paul
