The information given on the certificate consists of: Name, Age, 'Last Place of Residence' (this is NOT necessarily the same as 'Place of Origin/Birth' - usually gives village/town and then Kingdom/Duchy, or whatever) and Occupation. Also, family groups/persons travelling together, if that's how the information appeared on the original manifesto. Of course, at the top of the certificate, it lists the name of the ship, date of departure, destination and, perhaps, the ship's Captain. (Please note: the ages given for ALL members of my family of interest were 'out' by 12 months - I'm assuming, as immigration was a lengthy process, these ages may have been recorded when the family first applied to emigrate, not as they boarded the vessel.) 2.
