    3. Dear Julie Bruhl, I was wondering if you were any relation to August Bruhl from Ecklingerode in Germany who arrived in Brisbane on the "Beausite" in February 1865. My G-Grandfather, Karl Frederich Ziegenfusz, also from Ecklingerode travelled out to Australia on the same ship and they were listed next to each other on the shipping list. 3. Hi Julie Nothing on Beitz but there is a reference to Hacker as follows: "The nearest public landmark is now the front gate of Roselea station, owned by the Hacker family." Then, in the referencing, this statement is 'sourced' thus - "With Leichhardt's last letters as a guide, Desley Collins and I (the author, Patrick Collins) searched the banks of Muckadilla Creek with Peter and John Hacker for the outstation site, now on "Roselea". " I guess that tells you that there are still Hackers on "Roselea" so should be helpful. (The book was published this year.) 3. Hi Julie, I believe that a Beitz family tree is already in print. My husband works with a Bruce Beitz and once when we were discussing family trees he said that the Bietz side had been done. He is originally from that area. Regards Allison ----- Original Message ----- From: "J.
