All I want for Christmas: 1. Access to the papers my ancestors filled out to migrate to Australia. 2. To meet the nurse who filled out birth certificates and recorded my GGGrandmother's name differently with each child she brought into the world. 3. The ability to read German Handwriting on the microfilms. 4. Patience with myself when I cannot find my "elusive ancestors." 5. A genealogy program for my computer which will read my mind and fill in the correct information when my fingers make the mistake and hit the wrong keys. 6. A meeting with the town planner to find who makes the decisions to name the streets. 7. An accurately drawn map of the way things used to be when our ancestors first settled in Australia. 8. If I cannot have any of the above, then I would put in a bid to have the latest release of the microfiche that document the births and deaths and marriages that starts where the Pioneer Index leaves off. And I want it on CD. Dear Santa, I will leave loads of biscuits and milk for you if you could just fulfil my number 8 wish Thanks in Advance, Beverly.
