Hi Phillip and all of my other friends on SEQ Germans Sorry here Phillip - no connections! I have to talk with Beverly and Jim here. What do you two think about all of this? We are all bound together, German and Irish, and it sure as heck seems sensible to share! Is there a problem sending CCs to AUST-IRISH when we send our SEQ German mail, if it includes Irish folk - and vice versa? I think there are quite a few who have joint heritage but don't know where to go to 'talk'. May be there's a site? Would you two valued List Owners give your views please? I too have Irish married to German on one family line in SE Qld, but I also have a lot of Irish-only branches in other family lines, where the marriages were into English and Devon families. I am on the list for Qld SE Germans as that is my only German connection, and a great list it is, and I am on the AUS-IRISH list for my other research. AUS-IRISH is not a particular active list, but has the occasional pearls of information. I personally can see no real reason for the lists to intermix.
