    3. I have run this before, but thought I'd give it another go on the pretext that the Wandrahm was mentioned: My g-g-grandmother and family, and my step-g-g-grandfather and family emigrated on the "Wandrahm" which arrived at Moreton Bay on 12 January 1866. I recently posted details of this, and as a result was kindly sent a copy of the health officers' list of deaths on the ship (48 out of 353 1/2 passengers!). Because my g-g-grandmother married my step-g-g-grandfather on 17 April 1866 in Brisbane (second marriage for both), I had always assumed the respective other spouses had died during the voyage (especially as I knew about the death rate before). But now I have the actual list of victims I find no Holz or Punzel in the list of 48. Previously I have not found any deaths recorded in Queensland for any Holz or Punzel in the first half of 1866. Likewise, no trace of the Holz son in later marriage, birth (as potential father) and death records. So, with that background, my question is: what other records can I search to locate the almost certain deaths of these people? For example, I wonder if there are records of deaths in quarantine, or on ships lying in harbour. Any advice would be welcome. The people whose death records I cannot find are: Carl Holz (sometimes Holtz) aged 32 (on departure from Hamburg) Wilhelm Holz aged 4 both of Brüssow, Brandenburg, Prussia Wilhelmine Punzel aged 38 (sometimes Punzell) of Cunow (presumably now Kunow), (Brandenburg?)
