Hi, My ancestry is definitely GERMAN and my EISER and SCHMIDT and SCHULTZ names are prominent. Please check out the site and you will be able to find your names unless the individuals did not serve in the Australian military services. My father was called up, but after boot camp, they asked for carpenters and it was the one and only time he ever volunteered for anything, and the sargeant told him to go to the office and he did and was handed his papers to muster out to go back to his job as a joiner to make munitions boxes for the rest of the war.
