Hi Someone posted this on one of the lists I am on - so some of you are bound to already have this information thanks to that good person - but I thought it should be made known on as many lists as possible because it is such a good resource for recent Australian research. The Government has made a website listing all Australians who served in Australia's Defence forces and the Merchant Navy during World War II. I have found dates and places of birth that were too recent to be found by other research.
