Hi Jim, Thanks for sending the message about the posting from Noel Troy in case we didn't see it. (Noel it turns out is a descendant of Eva Schroedter and my husband Noel is a descendant of Christine Schroedter. Eva and Christine were sisters). It is a small world and getting smaller with the help of newsgroups like ours. I am most interested in the relative you found living in the UK. I too am a descendant of ELLEN BRADSHAW formerly SHERIDAN nee PLANT. (descended from the Sheridan Marriage as well) I might have her on my tree. In fact last year, we went to Ireland. It was an amazing trip to visit County Cavan and see the house where the family had lived in. We visited the church in Virginia and saw the Parish Registers. We saw the Baptism entry for Ellen and found she was actually baptised Eleanor. We saw the burial record of her grandmother MARY PLANT NEE DIGNAM for the 1st of September 1848. It was all very exciting. Thank you for the inquiry about our PODLICH reunion. It went very well. We had over 300 people join us for the day and they all helped make it a very unforgetable day. Just an example of how big the family is. We made a full descendant chart and pieced it together. It was so long (over 24 metres) that we had to put it around the outside of the hall. Yes we did produce a book on the family. It was over 300 page long and yes we still have a couple of books left. We sold it for $35.00 with postage of $10.00 for registered post. Of course even though we had done extensive research, sadly we still were unable to contact each and every person who was a descendant. Of course, we haven't stopped researching that family, just because we had the reunion and wrote the book. It is like all families a never ending story, one which we would like to keep updated.
