Hi Marionne and Listers, The Vernor German Baptist Cemetery is still there it is actually now in the middle of a cow paddock, the Rosewood Historical Society did clean it up a couple of years ago. Is there anyone in particular you are looking for. Dear Cathy;, I am looking for the death date and Burial of Jacob Trost. I don't know where he is buried. No record of his birth is available other than mention of a land transfer to his name after he was born. could not find him in the QLD BDM for birth or death but it is assumed that he died. His mother was Augustine Friedericke or Fredericke Augustine TROST and his father was Johann Carl Wilhelm TROST of Mutdapilly. Jacob was born 29 Aug 1887. His father died 10 Jan 1887 in Ipswich but I don't know where he is buried. His mother died 21 Jul 1920 and is buried in Mutdapilly Cemetery. Is the cemetery you refer to also called the Mutdapilly Cemetery? Let me know, thanks, Beverly.
