The home page is in German it is also translated into English and other languages as well. Scroll down right side and click on LINK TO YOUR ROOTS. On the right of this page you will see the different languages.They have done from 1890 upwards so far. You can do a surname search. Then if you find your relative there is a charge for the information.There are also old maps, not only of Germany, Australia and other countries. You can download these. Hope this is of help. Hi all, I would like to find the birth details and obtain a couple of birth certificates from my German interests. I have tried the LDS site without success. Henry WENZEL was born abt. 1849 in Frankfurt, Germany. Carl ENGEL was born in 1841 in Hundskopf, In The County Dramburg, Germany Annie ENGEL was born in 1880 in Henkendorf, Germany. Can anyone advise me if I can look up the records on line anywhere else? Also, how do I go about getting a copy of the birth certificate?
