    1. [SEQ-Germans] How to calculate DoB from a very specific age at death on Death Cert.?
    2. Di Randell
    3. Hello list Does anyone know how I can easily calculate a date of birth? I have a death 25 December 1922 and the Informant, the deceased's second wife, is quite specific about how old her husband was when he died, right down to the days: 73 years 4 months 24 days He was born overseas. It's important for me to figure out what this exact date would be, as I've always thought her information about his parents is wrong, and as a result I've delegated him different parents to what she has. It would seem, though, with her being so particular about how old he was when he died, that she had in front of her, in 1922 when she was the Informant, his birth and/or baptismal certificate, stating his parents. Thank you for any suggestions. Di.

    3. Di If you have Family Tree Maker or a similar programme that calculates ages plug in the dates and ages and let it do it's thing. I came up with the date of Wednesday, 1 Aug 1849. 3. Di, Here is a site quoted on an English list I am subscribed to. CALISTO and gives lots of info about the changes in the English calendar from Julian to Gregorian, plus explanations why the tax year starts on 6th April, and loads more on calendars in other countries. It's well worth a look. The site can be found at http://homepages.tesco.net/~jk.calisto/calisto/index.htm Regards Jenny
