Albert I have the book by Alan Corkhill. It is called Queensland and Germany, published by Academia Press in 1992 which, I think is based in Melbourne. ISBN 0 9589668 4 2. It is a very good reference book as it covers a lot of migration issued, trade, Germans and politics, and cultural issues. There is also a bit about internment which was discussed on this forum recently. I am happy to look up any references if required.
