    3. Noel and Del There is a Greenwattle street on the western side of Toowoomba, running north/south. In that era and in fact when I was young it would have been rural with small farms or may still have been part of Gowrie Estate.The most elevated part, I think would have been at the northern end ? ...one of my favourite riding haunts as a child. The nearest school would have been Wilsonton and if this is the area you are after, the children if any may have gone to school there. I'm fairly sure school admissions registers exist for that period.
