    3. Yvonne Have you been able to check the Hamburg list for your family?...this may give alternate names. The parents death certificates should also list their names and ages [though not always] and often the names given on a death certificate were nick names German names are often a quandary and in my family often were given a string of names which often incorporated all the sponsors at their baptism :) They then may have been known in the family by one, two or none of these! ...and of course the names were often anglicized Have you been able to find any baptismal records yet? these may help. The Hamburg shipping will give you the last address of the family if you don't already have a place of birth for at least Anna Gertrude from her marriage certificate.
