Hello, Last Saturday a very friendly Profke Re-union was held at Yarraman. It concentrated mainly on the descendants of :- Arthur & Hilda and their 13 children. Adolf Carl (Arthur) Profke b. 12 Mar 1901, Q'land, d. 19 Jul 1972, (Yarraman Cemetery, Q'land) par. Carl (Karl) Frederich Wilhelm Profke and Auguste Ulriche Schulz + Hilda Louisa Kerkow b. 15 Nov 1902, Q'land., m. 3 Sep 1924, Zion Lutheran Church Minden, d. 15 Oct 1983, (Yarraman Cemetery, Q'land), par. August Wilhelm Frederick Kerkow and Fredericke Wilhelmine Ruthenberg It was lovely to see a lot of 70 - 80+ year olds catching up and chatting about the old days. {Their were plenty of the younger generations there as well.} It would be lovely if more families did these small get-to-gethers. As I'm sure their are many of us daunted with the idea of a huge family gathering and the worry of producing books etc. Warm Regards, Charmaine.
