Michelle Thanks for your reply. I think that there may have been problems with the list on the day in that my original reply to you I did not see posted on the list, but you got it so that was good. I only use the reply icon in Outlook for my replies. My source is the great grandson of Heinrich Traugott HAUSLER and Freideriche Augusta LIEBE, who is married to a cousin of my wife. Knowing that the HAUSLER name is not common and I forwarded your email to him. His wife's brother and sister are chasing their family but was not sure if he was interested. He replied that his father can recall visiting the LARSENs on a pineapple farm. He shown no further interest and as a result I cannot provide you with his contact details. A cousin of mine is a descendant of Henry Adolphus HANSEN who married a Emma HANSEN in 1908 but know nothing more. My question to you was a pot luck only and I will pass on your information on to her. I also have PEDERSEN and NIELSEN names in by database which may be of interest to you Regards Bob -----Original Message----- From: Larsen [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, 7 April 2008 2:05 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Hansen family Hi Bob It looks like my attempt at posting a reply on the mailing list has failed. I responded to a highlighted email address which appeared on the email you sent to the list, which had the word bounce in it, but it has not turned up or been returned. There are no instructions on how to reply to a mailing list could you please let me know how you do it? Here is my reply, which I will post again if I can work it out, as someone else may be interested: Thanks very much for the birth date could I please have the source for my records? I am quite sure there is no connection between Mads Peder Hansen and Henry Adolphus Hansen. Mads Peder Poppa Hansen was born in 1878 in Rude Eskildstrup, Munke Bjergby parish, Sorø county, Denmark to parents, Jens Hansen and Ane Marie Madsen. He emigrated to Queensland in 1900 aboard the Ortona with his brother, Christian (Christy) Hansen. Both took up selections in Malling. Some of his other siblings went to America and others stayed in Denmark. Children of Mads Peder Hansen and Johanna Lydia Hausler were: Anna Ivy, Otto Henry, Ellen Sophie, Clara Marie, Emmie Lydia, Ruby Christina and Stanley Russell. Christian Hansen married Emily Ernestine Leekefett and as far as I know so far, they only had a daughter, Bertha Marie. There are no christian names Henry or Adolphus in the Hansen family for generations back in Denmark. If your Henry was a Dane and you need any help tracing his family, I would be happy to help. For some reason, the name Henry Adolphus Hansen seems very familiar to me I must come across it from time to time whilst looking up my Hansen family perhaps I saw his name when I was searching the electoral rolls. Is he the child of Adolf Volmer Hansen and Amanda Geiseman, who are mentioned in previous mail? If so, is this your Adolf Volmer below?
