Also > same town > Jacob Luneburg aged 22, Anna his wife > aged 23, and their young son Johann aged 2> We have been able to track Jacob Luneburg and his family up to 1913 > here in Brisbane, but then the remainder of the family simply > disappears.> Our big problem > Carl Luneburg > unable to locate > information on Carl Luneburg. ---------------------------------------- Hello Dell Some things to ponder - might help: You'd have the birth of Carl LUNEBURG in Brisbane 1867 to Annie SCHRAMM and Jacob LUNEBURG. So that makes two Carl LUNEBURGs to keep an eye out for - about 22 year age gap. Burial for Annie Helena LUNEBERG 1876 Sth Brisbane Cem. 9A. Grave 215. Age not listed. Two other burial in this plot. On Qld.Pioneers Index her death: died 12/4/1876. Father: John SCHRAMM. Mother not listed. I would presume that this "Annie" is the "Anna" LUNEBURG with Jacob, husband and son, Johann on the S/G (and the mother of Carl born 1867). She would have been young, then, dying in 1876 - born about 1842 - so probably Jacob remarried? Working on possibility that Jacob remarried....the Margaret in the same grave as (Anna - Jacob's wife) her death on Qld. Pionners 28/10/1881 1881/B014350 ..father: Jacob LUNEBURG and mother: Margaret DIEHM. Jacob LUNEBERG (sic) married Maria Margaretha DIEHM 10 Jul 1877 Brisbane. They have children born and died (in childhood), with Annie only child still alive up to 1889. I see the other burial, in same plot, at Sth Brisbane - Helena - in 1876 is daughter of Jacob and Annie. 1913 Electoral Roll. Carl LINDBORG (sic). Place of Living Koorboora. Occupation: Miner. Subdivison: Chillagoe, Kennedy Division. with Matilda. Home Duties. Same Address. Del, it's very likely that this is the same Carl who was enrolled Kennedy Division 1880-1884. Also at Chillagoe Subdivision in 1913 was Jessie Grant LINDBURG (sic) Home Duties. Place of Living: Chillagoe. There's a marriage for Jessie CRAIG and John Philip LINDBURG 1st March 1911. There's a death of Jessie LINDBURG 20 Oct 1914. Father: James WEBSTER. Mother: Mary GRANT. I found Charles LINDBORG. Occupation: Ploughman living at Aloomba. Subdivison of Cairns. Division of Herbert with Mathilda, Home Duties...1922 Electoral Roll I think. Charles = anglisied version of Carl . You'd have John LUNDBERG married to Sarah James SIMS in Brisbane 31 Oct 1894? Di
