Although I was initially sceptical, I have decided that Twitter (if used correctly) can be very useful for genealogy. I am in the process of writing an article with advice on this subject, but in the meantime here is what you can safely do *without* signing up to Twitter: 1. Go to http://twitter.com/JudyQld. 2. In the column on the right side of that page, click 'Favorites' to see some informative genealogy-related 'tweets'. Clicking links (which often start with http://bit.ly or http://tinyurl rather than www) will take you to Web sites that may interest you. Clicking on hashtags - links starting with # such as #genealogy - will bring up a list of tweets that include that term. If you already use Twitter for genealogy, let me know your @username so that I can read your tweets.
