Hi Jean, I queried the Queensland BDM office regarding a similar query last year and they advised me that the death should be registered at the destination port where the ship was heading ( ie Germany). They also advised that it may also be registered at any next port along the way too, so you may need to look at any stops the ship made. However, evidently she (or maybe both) were returning to Germany and she died on the ship (unknown), just out of Freemantle W.A. on or about 10 April 1910, and was buried at sea.
