    3. Hi List, Was having a chat to my dad about the recent question Jennifer asked about the Lutheran cemeteries at Lowood, he recalls the original lutheran church being out of town at the now Trinity Lutheran Cemetery (St Mark's) and during maybe the late 1930 or very early 1940's it was moved into Lowood via a 'roller' system, this took many months to get it into Lowood and it used the road, traffic was diverted through his Uncle property for some time as the back rollers were moved to the front - progress was slow. Later a new church was built in Lowood for the St Marks parish. Some families he could recall that started the St Marks movement were Rutherberg & Manz but of course their were others. Dad is 80+ now and I wonder how good his recollections are from this era. Does any other list members have relatives who can re-call this occurring? Or has any history been written about these Lutheran Churches. eg founding families etc. ? Warm Regards, Charmaine.
