    3. Hi Jean I checked the Deaths on the Qld BDM on-line, https://www.bdm.qld.gov.au/IndexSearch/BirIndexQry.m and located this entry - 1947/B10237 Friederike Brown Christian Muller Louisa Mohns Therefore, whoever registered her death did not know that Christian MULLER was not her father, but merely her mother's husband. They also reported that her mother was Louisa MOHNS, so if you have the certificates, was it completed by one of her children, or another person? The death certificate is the most unreliable certificate as it is not checked against birth or marriage details and the informant can unknowingly add anything they like....but it can give you some good leads. This site is free unlike Ancestry.com. Sorry to disagree with Ancestry, but your information on Friederike Brown's father (Christian Muller Brown) is incorrect. She was born to her mother, Dorothea MOHNS on 21 April 1856 in Bagemuhl, Germany. NO FATHER. Dorothea MOHNS then married Christian Friedrich Wilhelm MULLER on 10 April 1860 in Bagemuhl. Friedricke married James Roger BROWN, so her father's name could not have been BROWN. I have certificates to prove most of my information (except the German records). Thanks anyhow for your trouble. I am sure Kerry Muller will appreciate it. Regards, Jean Harm (husband's grandmother was Friederike MOHNS, before she married BROWN). __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 5479 (20100925) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com

    3. Lorrae. Forgot to add in my last email, that all this information was confirmed by my late mother-in-law, the daughter of Hermann MULLER and his first wife Wilhelmine STIBBE. Bob's mother said Herman never had a birth certificate because he was born on the ship, but I found it under MOHNS. This surprised everyone, so sometimes the truth can be tampered for sake of propriety. There was a long story about Fredericke becoming pregnant before they left Germany, but this was proved incorrect. Jean Harm
