I am planning to visit Poland in Spring (Northern Hemisphere) 2011 and want to progress my knowledge of ancestors from the Prussian towns/villages of Alt Christburg, Mothalen, Knakendorf and Behle prior to this. I don't speak German or Polish so am hesitant to follow the route of LDS micofilm etc. I know the current Polish names of each of these places and the provinces they are in. Can anyone direct me to a tried-and-true researcher in Poland who could research relevant records for me? I can certainly locate researchers on the Internet but would prefer a recommended one. I would like to also organise a 'genealogy tour' of three or four days for my visit to Poland. Several of these businesses advertise on the Internet, where custom private tours are designed to visit villages of your ancestors and organise accommodation, travel and a guide. Has anyone a recommendation for this type of tour? Please use my private email to respond if you feel that the endorsement of a commercial business is not suitable content for this list.
