Hi all .. I am wondering if someone can help me please ? I have been researching my ancestors .. Gottfried Millewski/Milewski and Ernestine Laschinsky/i .. they came to Australia on the Lammershagen in 1873 .. arriving in Brisbane. I have two questions regarding this family ? Firstly .. their son Emil Millewski (married Emma Zeller) ... can someone tell me if they split up and went their separate ways ? I cannot find them together with their three children (Adolph, Lilian and Ethel) after 1903 census ... I can see an Emma Millewski living in Nanango though in 1913 .. which leads me to my second question ... (why would Emma be living in Nanango, if in fact it IS her?) Secondly .. there was another person named August Millewski .. who lived in Nanango Qld and murdered his neighbour and was tried and hanged in Boggo Road jail .. in 1907... His wife was Emily ... and on the Boggo Road info .. I found he had a daughter Alice and a son Alex ... I cannot find any other information on them .... I would like to find out if they are related to my Gottfried and Emil Millewski family .. if I can.. The reason I am asking about them .. is that Emma Millewski is named in the 1913 census living with them .... "Alex, Emily and Emma Millewski at Nanango" ... and in another 1913 census for the same search of Emma Millewski ..(in ancestry) .. I found her living alone same year in Nanango .. quite confusing ..
