Albert (originally 'Albrecht') FRANK conducted his business as a tailor in Albion Street, Warwick, for many years in the second half of the 19th century. Would anyone have books/references re. the early history of Warwick which mention this man? I am keen to find out when he arrived in the Warwick area, if he was employed in another capacity prior to setting up his business, etc. (I have a copy of "Rosenthal Historic Shire: 1889 - 1989", ed. by Jan Ward-Brown, and he is mentioned, fleetingly, in that publication.) Albert and his betrothed, Dorothea Rosine BIEHLMAYER, arrived per the "Diana" from Bremen to Moreton Bay in May 1858. Their first child, a son, Henry, was born during the voyage but, unfortunately, died at nine months of age in Brisbane. They went on to have Albert Jnr., Charles and Mary.
