    3. Hello David, The 'Erlangen' owned by the German Australian Steam Ship Company sailed from Hamburg 4th November 1893, arriving Sydney 12th January, 1894. On board was the Kummerfeld family - Johan 47 from Kisdork, Holstein, his wife Abel aged 50 from Kisdorf, Holstein, and son Ernst aged 15 from Kisdorf Holstein. Death Notice : "The Chronicle" dated Wednesday May 30, 1917 KUMMERFELD - On 29th May, at Maryborough, Abel, beloved wife of Johann H. Kummerfeld of Biggenden, aged 75 years. OBITUARY: We regret to have to announce the death of Mrs Kummerfeld, wife of Johann H. Kummerfeld, of Biggenden, which took place in Maryborough yesterday afternoon. The deceased was brought to Maryborough by train and conveyed to the Hospital, but died before being attended by the Medical Superindendent. Consequently the lady was removed to the morgue, where a post mortem is to be held. The deceased was a native of Kaltenkerchen, Germany, and came with her husband to the Burnett district in 1894, where she had remained ever since. She leaves a sorrowing husband and one son (August), who is resident at Biggenden.
