I have an in-law family called Needer. Andrew Joseph Needer, born about 1862, married 1884 Margaret Condon, died Mt Morgan 1929 - his death index gives parents names of Andrew & Catherine Andrew & Margaret adopted a daughter Bridget Catherine Needer, who was born 1885, the illegitimate daughter of Annie Neader (later Annie Abbott).
